The season of finger pointing has just begun

Today is the nomination day for Malaysia Election 2022, GE15. It is when opposing political parties begging for people to vote them into parliament, when candidates become the members of parliament and ministers, follow by wealth and richness.

Politicians will do their best not to show their good side, but to show that they are the best of the candidates by demonstrating that others are worse than them. In fact, finger pointing has begun weeks before today.

I have seen footage of DAP leader David Nga Kor Ming stirring up people's emotion reminding them of their hardship of working in Singapore when they need to wait 2 hours just crossing borders each time. He blames it on the incompetence of the present government yet ignoring the fact that DAP did nothing neither when they were in power for 22 months after the previous election. The most ridiculous part was to proclaim they can reverse the situation and instead make Singapore to be the foreign workers of Johore Bahru.

David Nga claiming making Singaporeans coming to Malaysia to work as foreign workers.

I have also viewed video release from Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) on facebook.com critical of  DAP bias on their policies to punish the opposing parties including refuse funding to Tunku Abdul Raman (TAR) College, which was established by MCA, as that they were worse in treatment of Chinese. They further show case many empty promises of DAP such as recognition of the Chinese School General Exmination.

MCA videos on DAP empty promises

One person desperately looking for alliance is Mahatir, he knocked on Harapan's door to beg them to aceept him back after his desastrous move causing the collapse of the Harapan government in 2019, not to mention that he warned the Malays that the Malay are poor because the Chinese (even though Malaysian citizens) taking over the land and wealth, hopefully to leverage the Malay support for him. When alliance is not going to happen, he started bad mouthing Harapan.

Then you have the chief minister of Selangor Amirudin Shari going head on with Ali Azmin on who did wors in managing the state. Azmin claimed that Selangor was in limbo after he handed the role over to Amirudin Shari while the later claimed that Azmin Ali did nothing when he was the head of the state.

2 days ago, it was announced that Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ) will represent UMNO for sungai Buloh. Immediate effect was Rafizi Ramli, the deputy president of PKR was quick to "care" for KJ's well being claiming that Ahmad Zahid wanting to get rid of KJ and if he is elected, he will be the eliminated by the party because he is a threat to Zahid's leadership.

On the other hand, his opponent from PKR, was quick to berate Khairy for failing to improve the condition of the hospital in his own constituency of Rembau even when he was the caretaker minsiter of health while ignoring the fact that he single handedly lowered the Covid-19 pandemic from 30,000 per day to a mere 5,000 cases within the span of a year.

PAS under the leadership of Hadi Awang has previously approached UMNO to beg for alliance and has been rejected multiple times. they managed to find partnership with Bersatu. As a result, he started accusing that UMNO is an evil entity filled with corruption.

I have not left out Berstau. After the bitter fallout with the Harapan leading to the collapse of the coalition government, Besatu joined force with UMNO leading to Muhyiddin becoming he prime ministers. It was a disaster, and Muhyiddin was forced to resign. So what he do? Blame Lim Guan Ying of DAP for bing stingy when he was the finance minister, leading to no funding for development.

After all these finger-pointing between the parties, I have yet to hear from anyone what are their plan to revive the country.  Apparently, everyone is bad but we have to choose the best of the worst.
