Why Harapan urge the people to vote on party line and not the candidate?

While browsing through the internet events on PRU15. I come across a common theme, “选党不选人”. It means pick on party line and not the candidate.

Going through their ceramahs, I find that Harapan is great at discrediting their opponents, including bringing up age old faults of their opponent parties justifying corruption, betrayal and incompetence.

UMNO so far is labelled as a party of absolute corruption and that the party leaders are trying to use the election win to escape criminal conviction. They made it clear that UMNO was so scheming that they stole the governance of the country from Harapan, who surpassingly the rightful owner of this 5 years of governance.

MCA, their nemesis was labelled as the loyal lapdog of UMNO and only emerged recently for election. DAP went on to claimed that MCA was not there for the people when they needed help. further enforcing the belief that it was DAP alone who supported them in the time of needs.

Needless to say, Muhyiddin, Azmin Ali and their Bersatu are the traitors of Harapan, if not for their betrayal, Harapan would not have lost control of parliament.

Of course, I must also mention Mahathir who is labelled as the fox who lied to obtain control of Harapan and then refused to relinquish his role of prime minister for Anwar.

Oh! How can I miss out PAS who used to be an ally but now an extremist group trying to convert Malaysia into Afghanistan.

Harapan lead by Anwar are out to help Malaysia to clear all the evil, remove corruption and bring law and order to the country. It is "US" against "THEM" and a vote for Harapan is a vote for righteous while a vote for the other side is supporting the downfall of Malaysia because these people will hand the fate of Malaysia to people of corrupt nature.

The propaganda machine was in full force since day one marketing their ideology to the extent that the man on the street can recite the theme, turn a blind eye on who the candidates allocated to their constituencies and just choose the logo of Harapan.

This is all too familiar to me. I was at one point with regular travel to China and lately quite focus on the country's political changes due to my interest in Hong Kong.

The China propaganda machine is always quick to deflect any faults blaming external influences for any mishaps. Too much rain causing flood? Must be USA weather changing machine. Protest in Hong Kong? Must be US infiltration inciting riots. all sorts of ridiculous excuses and accusation, sky the limit.

They will even create stories on how they fought off foreign threats to them. There one very interesting story line which the online amateur reporters claim they were taking photos near a the seaside where Japan , Taiwan or Korea on the opposite end. A military vehicle drove behind them and told them that they are there to act as a barrier in case the enemy on the other side fire a missile over. These reporters declared how touch they are to the military personnel.

The thing is that these are recycled over and over again until I am sick of listening.

Back to Harapan, among all these betrayals, lies and deceits, I can't help but to note a common denominator, which is Harapan. If you connect all the strings, it all lead back to Harapan and no one else.

Anwar and his PKR for instance, was riddled with infighting since day one. The leaders within could not even wait until they are in full control before the distribution of power. The indecisiveness of Anwar himself not only fail to resolve the dispute, instead escalating it.

One famous incident was the position of Selangor Mentri Besar which was then seated by Abdul Khalid Ibrahim. He was hardworking and managed the state well, but was unseated due to the greed of Azmin Ali whom at the time a strong component within PKR. He under the silence of Anwar forced Khalid to apporach BN for help and then in the end removed by the party.

DAP on the other hand, while claiming to be multi-racial, is ruled by an iron fist. They depend on the Chinese vote by continuously feeding propagandas of external threats and danger in order for the Chinese to vote for them. It is no wonder that we very seldom see their ceramah in full Malay, because they could not spin the same story to the Malay.

With the collaboration between PKR and DAP however, they make it possible to divide and rule, PKR to convince the Malay community for support, while DAP on the Chinese.

Why then the theme of "pick on party line and not the candidate"? It is not because of them fearing the good credential of candidates from the other side. They are more scared the voters seeing their own candidates.

While failing to secure power in parliament, they are still holding to many of the seats, some reaching 4th term, and if you look closer, most of them did nothing to service the people who voted for them. In fact, you will find a lot of frogs leaping from constituency-to-constituency after 1 or 2 terms. Lim Kit Siang for instance is a great frog, jumping all over Malaysia.

A good example is Nurul Izzah Anwar. My constituency Lembah Pantai voted for her and she was our member of parliament between 2008 till 2018. During this period, she has never appeared in our area at all. We however, found her going around the country making speeches as it that is the sole duty we have asked her to fulfill. When came 2018, her credit ran out and she lompat to Permatang Puah.

She was replaced by a Fahmi Fadzil, a professional actor who also disappeared after the last election only to reappear recently to ask for vote. However, based on what my father told me, Bangsar Baru is really quiet now as if nothing is happening.

You do not need to believe me, just search on their ceramahs, you will find that they are quick to blame everyone for their misfortunes, discredit others to leverage their position, they even spue the notion that they were not able to fulfill their pledge because they were only in office for 22 months before the scheming UMNO took it from them. For some reason however, they never mention what happened within the 22 months which they were in office, not a single word of apology.

The point here is, not only you need to pick based on the candidates, you need to scrutinize every single aspect of the candidate, or you will come to regret when of your choice.

Prime Minister in waiting at Sungai Buloh, are the people of Sungai Buloh up to it?

Today I continue to witness Datok R. Ramanan from Pakatan Harapan attacking his opponent. He has earlier questioned Khairy over a past issue which has already been settled. Afterall, if there was any wrongdoing on Khairy part in those issues or if he was corrupted, I am sure he would have been under investigation during Mahathir second coming between 2016 to 2018.

When it did not work out, he switched his tactic.

Harapan started declaring the asset values of their candidates yesterday, and Mr. Ramanan was declared with over MYR 60 million worth of asset.

He was quick to direct the reporter to ask Khairy about his asset.

I really question the legitimacy of asset declaration. I find that it serves no other purpose than misleading people into believing that it indicates how clean the politicians are. Furthermore, it allows opponents with justifications for further attack.

What if Khairy is known to have lots of asset, even more than Ramanan? Should we then breakdown the source of his wealth? Can he not inherit his richness? Does it even indicate if he is corrupted at all?

If his asset is very low, does it mean that he is of lesser right of serving the people? Should he then be despised as a poor and have not?

When people asked him for the breakdown of his asset, Ramanan was quick to brush it off that the voters are not interested to know how many rings he has. I really wonder then how he manage to secure such large amount of wealth. Furthermore, I am interested to know if how much tax did Mr. Ramanan under report. Would he be interested to clarify, or simply say people not interested to know.

In fact, with the declaration of their wealth, we see that there are many millionaires or even Billionaires in Harapan, can they all elaborate as to how they accumulate their wealth?

The truth here is that asset declaration is on volunteer basis, and you can't blame others of not doing so if you are following your leader's instruction blindly, with exception to opposition, of course.

With such amount of wealth, I truly question if he understands the plight of the man on the street, and that he can truly serve the people of their needs.

Khairy on the other hand, has shown his dedication and ability through his handling of Covid-19, reducing the infection from 30,000 plus a day to a mere hundred.

I can understand the reason for the relentless attacks, Ramanan is new to the territory, he is taking over the role from his colleague on the constituency. He can't say a thing as to what his predecessor did badly, and he does not have success story yet in politics. worst, he is facing a very strong opponent with strong motivation to succeed.

However, there are more than one way to promote himself. He can relate to the people his hard work to his status today, and that he can duplicate the formula to Sungai Buloh, he can even tell the people about bring Sungai Buloh to the next level.

Unless of course, his path of success is stepping on others to reach where he is now.

There is no need for negative campaign, it only shows that he has nothing to show and unprepared. In my industry, it only indicates he is a follow and not a leader. Leader only focusses forward, while follower focuses on his opponent.

Khairy on the other hand is inspiring, his campaign is about the future and his aspiration to lead the country. He even maintains that he is ready, and the only thing left is to prove himself to the people.

My question to the people of Sungai Buloh: Do you want a follower or a future prime minister to represent you?

GE15, Best election scenario ever for Malaysia.

We have finally reached nomination day yesterday and the result is surprising.

I do not have the statistic on this and based on the news, it seems like all constituencies are with multiple candidates. Many who vote based on party line are dumbfounded when some place with up-to 10 candidates.

Sungai Buloh for instance has my favorite candidate Khairy Jamaluddin (Yes, I am his supporter, even before he was the acting Minister of Health) has to fight off 6 other candidates to get re-elected.

The narrator of the video for instance, claimed Armageddon for Malaysia. The expected outcome will have not a single party or coalition strong enough to lead the country, Malaysia is DOOMED!!!!!!

Me on the other hand consider this to be the best thing happening to Malaysia. After 65 years of independence, Malaysia is driven to the ground by generations of corrupt politicians.

These politicians divide themselves by race lines, claiming to be defending their race against others, yet collude with each other internally to devour the wealth of the country.

They make promises that they cannot keep knowing that they can always blame it on race and when come the next election, each will point fingers at others for being worse than them.

Racism is driving the disharmony of the people of Malaysia and as Malaysian we need to recognize the harm it is causing.

Our education system is failing, it is no longer up-to date and no longer support the country's progress, our healthcare system is on deterioration and cannot support the needs of growing number of citizens. Our law and order are in dire state filled with incompetence corruption. businesses are on decline and job opportunities are getting lesser because of bad policies due to incompetent leadership. Worst of all, the country is in serious debt to the extent that we are on a verge of bankruptcy.

Malaysia is in desperate need of restructuring to get out of this. Yet, it hurts me to see many still decided to vote on party lines, and not on the competence of the candidate. They are not interested to elect a good candidate simply because he is of certain party, they choose to elect in a person who has zero contribution but know how to complaint and blame the other side of all the mishap of the country.

This time round, with almost every constituency with more than 2 candidates, the politicians can no longer pander to a certain race, because the votes will be so divided. They cannot claim that they are here to defend the rights of Malay, Chinese and Indians independently, those who do will lose.

Neither can they point fingers because when there are at least 2 more parties that they need to find fault with, and others will do the same in return.

They will really need to come out with solid plan and sell it to the people how they are going to achieve it, because other candidates will do heck ad balance.

I urge all Malaysians to scrutinize the candidates offered to us, ensure that they are competence before casting our ballots. It is our sacred duty to help ensure the survival of Malaysia. Once we are overwhelmed with greed o any short-term gain promised by our politicians, we are only doing ourselves and our next generation a disservice.
